Another beautiful wedding and a big one as well! It's never easy to shoot big weddings involving so many brothers and sisters but the camaraderie among these groups of people which spelt great friendship among all made it easier :) And I have to salute the ladies on the food prepared for gate-crashing! Never have I seen such delicately-made treats that might have just made the guys gladly pay for them! I love the way Annie laughs heartily at all the fun moments and how Lip Hoe shyly oblige the crowd and sportingly sang and danced his way to the door of the bride! Love was in the air, and above all, bliss and happiness was everywhere. Congratulations once again Lip Hoe and Annie!

Love isn't all about romance. In our quest to capture love in its various forms, we witnessed the strong bonds in the friendship of 6 young teachers-to-be through the graduation photoshoot we did for them! The It was an afternoon of great fun packed with jokes and laughters, especially with the props we brought along, turning the Esplanade area into Hogwarts with our graduates "flying" on their broom sticks :p
Does anyone remember the famous TCS (now aka Mediacorp) Drama (or was it SBC? haha) 早安老师? I can't help but thought of the theme song of that drama as I was editing the photos, probably because these are a bunch of graduating Mandarin teachers-to-be haha.. “知識的門由你開啟,走向光明的路是你指引, 莘莘學子幼苗長在大地裡,師恩是春雨..." So here's wishing all of you the very best in your new role as teachers, and may your friendship continue to blossom through the years to come, with these graduation photos as imprints of your wonderful memories of schooling days... Our next generation is in your hands! Jiayou! For enquiries on our non-wedding photography packages - family, individual and group portraits, please email to [email protected] It's our great honor and privilege to have two of our photos awarded the Excellence Awards Collection IX by Wedding Photographers Select, an international wedding photographers association! These are some fun, creative shots we did and for every wedding, we will try to create a few of such shots that truly represent who our couples are, what they like, and anything that's uniquely them :) This is our way of making our photos and videos different for every wedding, and in turn leave exclusive keepsakes for our couples of their special day! Share with us your love story, and what makes you YOU!
Brace yourself as the minions conquer the world! In this case, the lovable minion represents the love and the wedding theme of Aloysius and Joanne - cheeky, mischievous and full of fun! Check out our latest Same-Day Edit of Aloysius and Joanne's wedding, with brothers all dressed up in their bright yellow minions outfit ready to war against the evil minion sisters in purple, and watch love conquer all :)
It was a bright and sunny day, and the day was made even brighter by the presence of both the good and evil minions in their customized yellow and purple outfits! Another very fun wedding we were very glad to be part of! Congrats again, Aloysius and Joanne, may your marriage be always colourful and filled with joy! Click on the image above to view the Same-Day Edit of Samuel and Genie's Wedding "She can't sing, she can't dance, but who cares, she walks like Rihanna.." I specially chose this song for the same-day edit video for Samuel and Genie because seeing the way they act around each other reminded me of the simple basis for falling in love with someone - it doesn't matter whether your partner has all the dream qualities you've always hoped for, he or she just need to have that one thing that reaches the depths of your heart. It could be the hearty laughter when you tell her a joke, the quiet confidence you see in her eyes when you see her at work, or the shy look she gave when you've won her heart. Although Samuel and Genie dated for only a short two years, the bond and chemistry between them is really strong and could make many of us fill with envy! All weddings are beautiful but when you add in breathtaking views of a fiery sunset and sounds of the waves splashing onto the sandy shores, the wedding of Pat and Teresa held in Bali has got to be one of the most beautiful ones we've done in 2013! We went to Bali a day before the wedding day to squeeze in a pre-wedding photoshoot, continued the photoshoot in the morning, then produce a slideshow of the photos for the guests in the evening of the wedding. It was no doubt tiring, but having a fun-loving, cooperative and spontaneous couple made a big difference! Thank you for having so much trust in us during the two days, and here's wishing both of you, Pat and Teresa, a blissful marriage!
P.S: Oh yes, not forgetting to thank you both again for the thoughtful gifts! We will certainly put them to good use :) Chinese weddings are known to be big, loud and merry, and Chang Sheng and Serene's wedding day was one such event! There were joyous laughter from everyone and the many relatives present at the wedding were all trying to squeeze their way into the room to catch a glimpse of the beautiful couple! Cheers to the spontaneous couple who carried smiles all the way making our jobs capturing their moments on both photo and video an equally merry one!
Our sincere congratulations to Arthur and Carmen for their big day! We were thrilled to hear back from Carmen 3 years after we did her ROM that she's engaging us for her customary wedding! I really love how demure and subtle Carmen looked on her wedding day, without her missing a single bit of the sparkle that brides have!
The couple truly enjoyed themselves on their wedding day (that's the way it should be!), with Arthur singing away outside the bride's room and Carmen laughing heartily behind the door.. Cheers to this beautiful couple, wishing you both a blissful marriage :) And we have a winner! Our very own head honcho of Love Imprint, Ray Ang, has won first prize in this year's National Geographic Channel and Capitaland's "Building People" Photo Competition with the above photograph - a perfectly framed moment of a young boy playing with his bubble spray gun, perfectly enveloping the words "Clarke Quay". This is the 4th year NGC and Capitaland is organising this photo competition, A record of over 3,000 submissions were received across the Asia Pacific and for the first time, the competition introduced a duo-themed feature – “Best Building Moment” and “Best People Moment”. Ray's photo encompassed both! The below is an extract of an official released article by Capitaland: Despite the overwhelming competition, Ray Ang managed to beat the odds to emerge as top winner. An auditor turned wedding videographer, he has only started dabbling with photography two years ago. Hence, the victory, a first for him, came totally unexpected. “I was in disbelief when they announced the third and second prize, and thought that they made a mistake. I dared not move until I saw my picture and heard my name being announced. I’m still in shock!” Ang gushed. His winning photo won the judges over because it captured both the pure delight of a child playing with a bubble-spray gun, and the energy of the Clarke Quay vicinity. By a stroke of luck, the photo was snapped at the right instant when an iridescent soap bubble framed the Clarke Quay signage perfectly. “It’s a lucky shot because of the unpredictable bubble movement and my nephew’s position. He was quite playful. He ran around and charged at me, so it was quite a challenge getting this shot,” shared Ang. “This year’s duo-theme challenged me to capture both people and buildings together in a single shot. Based on the homework that I did, motion and reflection were quite commonly used in the ways to present buildings in the past two years’ entries, hence I thought of using the bubble concept.” Ang won for himself a three-day National Geographic assignment trip to China under the mentorship of renowned National Geographic Photographer Mr Michael Yamashita, amongst other prizes. Any takers for bubble moments for your pre-wedding photos / videos? :) |
